Symptoms of lower limb thrombosis
Disease description:
These past couple of days, I've noticed that the skin color on my leg seems a bit off. A friend mentioned it might be caused by a lower limb thrombosis. So, what are the symptoms of lower limb thrombosis?
After the formation of a lower limb thrombosis, a common symptom is sudden swelling in the affected area. During the acute phase, the skin may appear red and feel warmer than surrounding areas. If the swelling is severe, the skin may become mottled and take on a bluish-purple hue, and tension blisters may develop. Additionally, superficial veins in the affected limb may become visible or dilated.
