Leukorrhea with a curd-like appearance requires corresponding treatment measures based on the underlying cause. If the curd-like discharge is caused by fungal vaginitis, local cleansing with sodium bicarbonate solution may be used initially; if necessary, metronidazole can be taken orally under medical guidance as combination therapy. If the condition is due to candidal vaginitis, sitz baths with potassium permanganate solution or rinsing the external genitalia with normal saline may be helpful.
