Precautions for Sanfu Patches
Disease description:
Heatstroke occurs easily during summer. As the weather grows increasingly hot, I plan to purchase Sanfu patches. Could you please tell me what precautions should be taken when using Sanfu patches?
Hello,
Please keep the area where the topical medication is applied as dry as possible and avoid direct exposure to cold air from air conditioning. During the application period, avoid consuming raw, cold, greasy, or spicy foods. Also, refrain from high-protein foods and seafood such as shrimp and crab. On the day of application, swimming is prohibited, and you should avoid cold showers for 4–6 hours afterward.
Patients undergoing “treating winter diseases in summer” are advised to moderate their diet and lifestyle—especially avoiding excessive exposure to cold. Stay away from air-conditioned environments, as entering an air-conditioned room causes skin pores to constrict, thereby impeding drug absorption. Additionally, limit intake of cold beverages, which not only damage the spleen and stomach but may also cause internal cold accumulation to become stagnant, thus compromising treatment efficacy.
We hope the above information is helpful to you. Wishing you a pleasant and healthy life!
