Disease description:

For several days, I don't know why my vaginal discharge has become abnormally watery. However, I'm not experiencing any pain or odor. What could it mean if the discharge is watery and abnormal but without pain or smell?

Abnormal vaginal discharge that is watery, painless, and has an odor may indicate infection or inflammation. Watery discharge alone, without odor, itching, or other symptoms, could also be caused by cervical inflammation. A pale white discharge with a pungent smell may sometimes signal cervical or vaginal cancer. In addition, when submucosal uterine fibroids undergo necrosis, they can cause increased watery discharge with a foul odor, typically associated with bacterial vaginosis, which often produces a fishy (ammonia-like) smell. Therefore, if you notice any abnormalities in vaginal discharge, it's essential to seek medical examination at a hospital.
