How to treat severe cervical bleeding
Disease description:
The bleeding is extremely heavy, even more than a regular menstrual period. The doctor said I have cervical hemorrhage. How is cervical hemorrhage treated?
Cervical massive bleeding can be treated surgically. Cervical polyps, a form of chronic cervicitis, can cause cervical bleeding and are generally removed through surgical procedures such as hysteroscopic electroresection or cervical conization. In cases of bleeding from cervical erosion, cervical TCT and HPV testing are required, along with multiple-point cervical biopsy under colposcopy. If cervical precancerous lesions are detected, surgical intervention is necessary.
