Watery vaginal discharge during menopause is not normal. Women experiencing watery discharge during menopause may have gynecological conditions such as vaginitis, cervicitis, or endometritis. Normal vaginal discharge is thick, scant in amount, white and paste-like, with no odor. It is not advisable to frequently wash the external genitalia with plain water or use medications for wiping. If symptoms worsen, prompt medical attention at a hospital is necessary.
