What causes excessive androgen?
Disease description:
Found that my beard is particularly thick, and after examination, it was discovered that androgen secretion is relatively high. What causes excessive androgen?
Excess androgens may lead to female infertility, testicular tumors, and other symptoms. When androgen levels in the body are too high, hormonal imbalance can occur, resulting in endocrine disorders and subsequently causing infertility. In male patients, androgen levels typically range from 20% to 30%; males are the primary beneficiaries of these hormone levels. However, elevated androgens could also be associated with tumors such as testicular tumors, adrenal tumors, malignant lesions, or hypothalamic-pituitary tumors.
