What to do about color blindness or color weakness
Disease description:
Sometimes I have trouble distinguishing colors. Recently, when I went to register for a driving test, I had a medical checkup, and they told me I have some degree of color blindness. I'd like to know what I should do about color blindness or color weakness.
There is currently no special medication or method to treat color blindness or color deficiency. It is generally caused by genetic factors. People with color blindness are completely unable to recognize specific colors or certain colors, which can be categorized as red, green, blue, yellow, or total color blindness. Those with color weakness have difficulty distinguishing certain colors. Color-blind individuals may consider wearing color-correcting glasses as a remedy, but this only addresses the symptoms rather than the underlying cause.
