Acquired factors may cause color blindness, commonly seen in alcohol poisoning, neuritis, familial liver diseases, thallium poisoning, etc. When acquired diseases lead to macular lesions, some patients can recover to a normal state after active treatment. Clinically, red-green color blindness is still the most common type, significantly affecting daily life, such as being unable to drive.
