Why am I nearsighted again after having myopia surgery?

Disease description:

I had LASIK surgery a few years ago, but this year I've noticed my myopia has returned. I'd like to know why myopia can come back after having corrective eye surgery.

After undergoing myopia surgery, experiencing myopia again is usually due to refractive regression following laser correction or poor postoperative eye habits that lead to further progression. Generally, myopia laser surgery is considered only after the patient has reached adulthood and their myopia has stabilized, with an increase of no more than 50 degrees over a two-year period. If the degree of myopia continues to increase before surgery, undergoing laser surgery prematurely may result in higher myopia after the procedure.
