It's peach season again. I have many peach trees at home, and I especially love eating peaches. I'm wondering, can someone with red eye (conjunctivitis) eat nectarines?

People with red eye disease can eat peaches, but patients should avoid consuming hot and stimulating foods such as scallions, ginger, garlic, and chili peppers. These are among the most important ones to avoid. Additionally, seafood such as fish, shrimp, and crab, as well as foods like chicken head, pork head, mustard, and dog meat, should also be avoided. All these foods are considered warming and stimulating, and their consumption is prohibited during illness. Patients should also refrain from eating them during recovery, as doing so may cause the condition to recur.
