Vocal cord polyps are caused by improper voice use, exposure to irritating gases, and similar factors. Long-term overuse of the voice or incorrect vocalization can lead to the development of vocal cord polyps. Prolonged occupational exposure to irritants such as dust and chemical gases may also contribute to their formation. In severe cases, nebulization treatment may be required, or surgical removal may be performed.
