Disease description:

My buttocks always feel cold, and I suspect this might be caused by "cold uterus" (gong han). I'm not sure if that's the case. I'd like to ask: is having cold buttocks a symptom of cold uterus?

Coldness in the buttocks can be a clinical manifestation of cold uterus (gong han). Since cold uterus is mostly caused by spleen and kidney yang deficiency, and the buttocks are areas associated with the foot taiyang bladder meridian and the foot shaoyin kidney meridian, when the yang energy of these meridians is weakened due to spleen and kidney yang deficiency, insufficient yang qi may lead to coldness in the buttocks. Patients are advised to consult a physician and select appropriate medications under medical guidance for proper treatment.
