After menopause, adenomyosis can generally be treated with traditional Chinese medicine, as it tends to be less harmful to the body. However, medications cannot completely eliminate the condition. Adenomyosis is usually a form of endometriosis, and after menopause, it typically gradually atrophies, although spontaneous recovery is not possible. If symptoms of adenomyosis occur, an ultrasound examination should be conducted at the hospital as early as possible, followed by a pathological evaluation.
