Spermatic cord inflammation is caused by conditions such as acute orchitis. It typically presents as inflammation of the spermatic cord due to acute orchitis or acute epididymitis. The main symptoms include thickening of the spermatic cord and pain; the vas deferens feels thickened upon palpation, and touching the spermatic cord causes tenderness. If the condition is due to frequent masturbation, excessive sexual activity, or similar reasons, drug treatment is recommended, with recovery usually occurring within 1–2 weeks.
