Recently, after inserting the Mirena IUD, she has experienced a small amount of vaginal bleeding, which is a common occurrence with the Mirena IUD. Later, there may be slight vaginal bleeding, but usually not excessive, and it typically lasts only 3–5 days before disappearing. If heavy bleeding or blood clots occur, it's important to promptly identify the underlying cause and consider removing the Mirena IUD. It's best to go to the hospital for evaluation. If the bleeding isn't severe, it's generally not a serious concern, and taking some anti-inflammatory medication may help.
