CT findings of primary hepatocellular carcinoma may include regular liver margins or the presence of peritumoral edema. During CT examination of primary hepatocellular carcinoma, irregular liver tissue margins and a prominent perilesional edema band are often observed under low-density imaging. Additionally, significant enlargement of portal lymph nodes may also be present.
