Disease description:

Recently, I felt pain in the liver area. After a medical examination, the doctor diagnosed it as a hepatic space-occupying lesion. How is a hepatic space-occupying lesion treated?

Doctor's answer (1)
Dr. Jin Zhongkui
If a liver space-occupying lesion is a benign tumor and the tumor is relatively small without causing significant symptoms, treatment may not be necessary temporarily. However, if the patient meets surgical indications, partial hepatectomy or cyst drainage may be performed according to the doctor's recommendation. For primary liver cancer, treatment options such as radiofrequency ablation, surgical resection, or liver transplantation may be considered based on medical advice.
