Chronic presentation symptoms of appendicitis
Disease description:
I've been having abdominal pain for several days. After a hospital examination, the doctor diagnosed me with chronic appendicitis. I would like to know what symptoms this condition presents?
Chronic appendicitis may present with symptoms of pain in the lower right abdomen, which is recurrent or dull in nature. Symptoms may worsen during a cold or after excessive fatigue. Repeated inflammation stimulating the peritoneum can cause reflexive nausea, and vomiting may also occur. Some patients may develop fever during acute episodes, although the temperature usually does not rise significantly.
