What causes a rice grain-sized bump to appear under the eye?
Disease description:
I've noticed small, rice-sized bumps appearing on the area where the salt bag is placed over the past couple of days. What does it mean when such rice-sized bumps develop around the eye bag area?
Small grain-like bumps appearing under the eyes may result from a sensitive constitution. The skin in the eyelid area may come into contact with allergens such as pollen or house dust mites, causing contact dermatitis. Alternatively, excessive UV exposure, trauma, or improper use of medications in the under-eye area may lead to localized hyperplasia of sebaceous glands. Additionally, factors such as genetics or damage to sweat ducts can cause milia, which typically form small cysts in the dermal layer of the facial skin, manifesting as tiny, rice-like bumps under the eyes.
