Alternatively, excessive UV exposure, trauma, or improper use of medications in the under-eye area may lead to localized hyperplasia of sebaceous glands. Additionally, factors such as genetics or damage to sweat ducts can cause milia, which typically form small cysts in the dermal layer of the facial skin, manifesting as tiny, rice-like bumps under the eyes.
