The number of Botox injections needed for facial slimming depends on the patient's masseter muscle condition. If the hypertrophy of the chewing muscle is mild, usually around 2 injections are sufficient to achieve a slimmer face. If the muscle hypertrophy is more severe, more than 4 injections are required to achieve the desired slimming effect. The slimming effect gradually fades after 6 months, at which point reinjection can be performed.
