After thigh liposuction surgery, rebound is generally not expected. This is mainly because the number of fat cells in the human body is fixed from birth. Once a certain amount of fat tissue is removed, the remaining fat cells do not reproduce or increase in number, so significant rebound usually does not occur. However, if the patient engages in overeating and reduces physical activity, the remaining fat cells may enlarge in volume, potentially leading to a slight thickening of the thigh contour. Nonetheless, this effect is generally not severe.
