This procedure is also not recommended for individuals with mild epicanthal folds. Patients suffering from serious medical conditions such as severe hypertension, heart disease, or blood disorders should not undergo this surgery. Additionally, women who are breastfeeding, pregnant, or menstruating are not suitable candidates for eye corner opening surgery.
