Post-care instructions for buttock liposuction require attention to wound care. You should not take a shower for 3 to 5 days after the procedure, and you must maintain proper hygiene of the treated area. Additionally, try to avoid lying flat while sleeping to prevent skin necrosis in the buttocks. Stitches are usually removed about two weeks after surgery, so strenuous exercise should be avoided for one month after suture removal.
