Dr. Chen Qirui
Shoulder blade pain in patients with thymoma may result from prolonged strenuous exercise or heavy physical labor during the illness, causing muscle strain in the shoulder blade area. It could also be due to inflammatory reactions caused by infection of the nerves in the shoulder and back region. If the back muscles remain tense without adequate rest, it may lead to local muscle ischemia, soft tissue spasms, and other symptoms, resulting in back fasciitis and causing this phenomenon.
