Esophageal cancer may not cause bone aches or weakness. Esophageal cancer is a disease primarily caused by malignant tumors in the esophagus. In the early stages, it may cause symptoms such as a sensation of a foreign body or choking behind the breastbone when swallowing food. As the disease progresses to an advanced stage, it may lead to pain between the shoulder blades or behind the breastbone, but it generally does not cause bone aches or weakness.
