For thymoma patients experiencing difficulty swallowing, the diet should primarily consist of liquid or semi-liquid foods, such as milk, millet porridge, and Chinese yam porridge. Under a doctor's guidance, cholinesterase inhibitors can be administered for treatment; commonly used medications include neostigmine and pyridostigmine. Cholinesterase inhibitors may also be given intravenously. During treatment, strenuous exercise should be avoided to prevent worsening of symptoms.
