Patients with yin deficiency should generally avoid taking Buzhong Yiqi Pills. Individuals with yin deficiency typically exhibit symptoms such as a red tongue with little fluid, night sweats, and dryness of the mouth and throat. Buzhong Yiqi Pills are primarily used to tonify qi and yang; if taken by those with yin deficiency, they may cause symptoms such as bleeding from the nose or mouth, and mouth ulcers. It is recommended that patients take yin-nourishing and qi-tonifying medications under the guidance of a physician. Commonly used remedies include Shengmai Yin and Yiqi Fumai Capsules.
