Side effects of wrinkle-removal injections
Disease description:
I've been feeling that the wrinkles on my face are more noticeable these past couple of days. A friend mentioned I could try getting wrinkle-reduction injections. What are the side effects of these anti-wrinkle injections?
The needle used for removing wrinkles generally refers to botulinum toxin. Although injecting botulinum toxin can help reduce wrinkles, it may also cause some side effects. For example, it might lead to bruising on the patient's skin. Meanwhile, if proper disinfection is not performed during the injection, infection at the injection site may occur. Additionally, if the toxin is injected unevenly into different layers of tissue, localized unevenness or irregularities in the skin surface may appear.
