Will liposuction on the lower legs lead to rebound?

Disease description:

My calves appear somewhat thick, making the overall leg contour less than ideal. I'm considering calf liposuction. Will the fat come back after calf liposuction?

Calf liposuction is a type of localized liposuction procedure, and under normal circumstances, weight regain does not occur. Calf liposuction primarily works on the principle of negative pressure. A small, discreet incision is made in the calf area, through which a tumescent solution is injected to rapidly expand the fat tissue. Then, a suction cannula is used to remove the excess fat, thereby reducing fat volume in the legs and achieving slimmer calves. The procedure is relatively safe and delivers noticeable results when properly performed. With appropriate postoperative care, recurrence or rebound effects are generally unlikely to occur.
