I have a constitution of kidney yang deficiency, and I usually feel cold and experience mild lower back pain. Recently, I've developed gastrointestinal disturbances. Could kidney yang deficiency cause gastrointestinal problems?
Kidney Yang deficiency may lead to gastrointestinal disturbances. Patients with Kidney Yang deficiency often initially present with Spleen and Stomach cold deficiency. As the condition progresses, or due to frequent consumption of raw, cold, or irritating foods, the illness may worsen, resulting in gastrointestinal disorders. Symptoms include loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, abdominal distension, and abdominal pain.
