Is liver and kidney yin deficiency the same as insufficient qi and blood?
Disease description:
Recently, after several menstrual periods, my menstrual flow has been relatively light. The doctor said it was caused by insufficient qi and blood. I would like to know: is liver and kidney yin deficiency the same as insufficient qi and blood?
Liver and kidney yin deficiency may not be the same as insufficient qi and blood, as they are different conditions. Liver and kidney yin deficiency typically refers to internal disturbance due to deficient heat and inadequate kidney yin fluids, mainly manifesting as symptoms such as nocturnal emission, dizziness, soreness and fatigue in the lower back, and tinnitus. Insufficient qi and blood can be divided into qi deficiency and blood deficiency. This insufficiency may lead to diminished organ function and premature aging, with main manifestations including weight loss, easy fatigue, general weakness, and decreased memory.
