For corns on the foot, one should visit the general surgery clinic at a hospital, where the thickened stratum corneum is cut open with scissors, followed by local application of corn ointment, which generally leads to recovery. Patients should wear loose and comfortable shoes and socks, soak their feet in hot water at night to promote blood circulation, and may also receive treatments such as laser therapy, cryotherapy, or surgery. Adequate rest should be maintained, and spicy foods should be avoided.
