Pharyngitis generally does not cause pain in the front of the chest or back. When patients experience such pain, it is usually due to other underlying conditions. Pharyngitis, which involves inflammation of the throat mucosa, primarily manifests as symptoms like sore throat, hoarseness, coughing, and similar discomforts.
