Cetylpyridinium chloride tablets are used for the treatment of pharyngitis. They have a good therapeutic effect and can inhibit bacterial populations in the oral cavity, on surfaces, and in other soft tissues, providing antibacterial action. Chronic pharyngitis may be associated with frequent nasopharyngitis or indigestion. If patients consume alcohol over a long period or are frequently exposed to polluted air, they may develop symptoms of chronic pharyngitis. Drinking plenty of hot water during treatment can help improve the condition.
