Why does intercourse always cause bleeding?

Bleeding during intercourse may be caused by prolonged duration or overly vigorous movements, which can damage the vaginal mucosa and lead to ruptured blood vessels and bleeding. It could also be due to chronic cervicitis; long-term inflammation may cause congestion of the cervical mucosa. During intercourse, stimulation of the inflamed cervical tissue can rupture surface blood vessels, resulting in bleeding.
