What are the symptoms of blood cancer?
Disease description:
Fatigue, pallor, lymphadenopathy, bleeding, infection, hepatosplenomegaly, and petechiae on skin and mucous membranes.
"Blood cancer" is a layman's term. The medical term is leukemia. People commonly refer to malignant hematological tumors as blood cancer, which mainly manifest as fatigue, pallor, swollen lymph nodes, bleeding, infections, enlarged liver and spleen, and petechiae on the skin and mucous membranes. The prognosis for blood cancers is relatively poor. Some types of leukemia require stem cell transplantation to achieve a cure, while certain specific types, such as acute promyelocytic leukemia, can achieve complete remission with medication alone. For chronic myeloid leukemia, targeted drugs have already been developed domestically; by correcting the mutated gene, these drugs can lead to either cure or long-term survival. Therefore, being diagnosed with leukemia is not necessarily frightening. Patients should go to the hospital for proper classification and staging to guide appropriate treatment. Avoid delaying the condition by purchasing herbal remedies or other medications on your own at home.
