Will having the baby's head engaged at 36 weeks of the second pregnancy lead to early delivery?

Disease description:

The baby has already engaged at 36 weeks for my second pregnancy, but I haven't been admitted to the hospital yet. Will going into labor early be more likely if the baby engages at 36 weeks with a second child?

At 36 weeks of the second pregnancy, engagement of the fetal head may lead to early delivery. Early engagement is relatively uncommon in second pregnancies; it usually occurs at full term or during the onset of labor. If engagement happens too early, it may exert pressure on the cervix, potentially triggering contractions and leading to preterm birth. However, at 36 weeks, even if delivery occurs slightly earlier, there generally won't be significant adverse effects.
