What should be done if a person has high pituitary prolactin levels?
Disease description:
Some of my test results are abnormal, particularly with elevated human pituitary prolactin levels. What should I do about high human pituitary prolactin?
Elevated human pituitary prolactin levels should be treated according to the underlying cause. If high prolactin is caused by a large pituitary adenoma, medication may be used initially. If drug treatment fails, surgical intervention can be considered. In daily diet, patients should avoid spicy, irritating, and greasy foods. They should consume more immunity-boosting foods such as rice, udon noodles, pumpkin, red dates, and onions.
