Transvaginal ultrasound can detect cervical cancer. However, cervical cancer is primarily diagnosed through symptoms, physical signs, and pathological examination. If symptoms such as vaginal bleeding, post-coital bleeding, abnormal vaginal discharge, or sacral pain are present, and if abnormal growths, cauliflower-like lesions, or a barrel-shaped cervix are observed during examination, transvaginal ultrasound may suggest the presence of a local cervical mass. Nevertheless, it cannot serve as a definitive diagnostic tool. A definitive diagnosis can be made through histopathological examination of a biopsy specimen.
