Iodine tincture can be applied to oral ulcers. It may be used in combination with levofloxacin. Watermelon frost spray can also be applied locally. Drink plenty of plain water daily, avoid spicy and irritating foods, and consume more fruits and vegetables rich in vitamins. For recurrent oral ulcers, oral zinc gluconate tablets may be taken for treatment. Patients should also maintain good oral hygiene and frequently rinse their mouth.
