Knee synovitis with a small amount of joint effusion can be treated with non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs such as celecoxib and diclofenac sodium sustained-release tablets. Topical treatments, such as Voltaren ointment or felbinac plasters, may also be used. To manage joint fluid accumulation, it is important to reduce physical activity. When lying down, place 1–2 pillows under the heels to help improve venous return and reduce swelling. It should be noted that during the swelling phase, heat application should be avoided, as it may dilate blood vessels and increase synovial fluid secretion.
