A child experiencing itchy nose and runny nose is very likely suffering from allergic rhinitis. Allergic rhinitis often causes symptoms such as mucosal dryness, nasal itching, and sneezing. In children, this may lead to nose rubbing or picking, resulting in mucosal damage and nosebleeds. Additionally, factors related to blood disorders, such as reduced platelet count, can also cause nasal mucosal bleeding, which is often difficult to stop. Vitiligo may also lead to nosebleeds; however, in these cases, the nose typically does not feel itchy.
