It commonly occurs in individuals who have been in a state of prolonged hypoxia; once they move to a high-oxygen environment, their bodies may experience a series of discomforts. These are primarily manifested as persistent dizziness, fatigue, chest tightness, palpitations, decreased appetite, constipation, increased frequency of bowel movements, diarrhea, indigestion, limb edema, and memory decline.
