The dosage of dopamine during emergency resuscitation is 25 micrograms per kilogram per minute administered by intravenous infusion. This can be prepared by adding 20 mg of dopamine to 200 mL of 5% dextrose solution. Initially, infuse at a rate of approximately 20 drops per minute, equivalent to 75–100 micrograms per minute, and adjust the infusion rate according to blood pressure. High doses may cause tachycardia and arrhythmias. Prior to administration, ensure adequate volume replacement and correction of acidosis. During intravenous infusion, closely monitor blood pressure, heart rate, and urine output.
