What causes drowsiness and increased hunger?

Recently, I've been feeling excessively sleepy and constantly hungry, but I don't know what's causing these symptoms. Could someone please tell me what might be causing excessive sleepiness and frequent hunger?

Sleepiness and increased hunger may be caused by gastritis. Patients can go to the hospital for thyroid hormone function tests, as hyperthyroidism may be present. These symptoms can occur together with use of probiotics or bifidobacterium capsules; if hunger occurs, it may lead to gastrointestinal bloating and indigestion. Additionally, these symptoms could result from the patient's generally weak constitution, low blood lipids, low blood sugar, or endocrine disorders.
