How to provide first aid for head soft tissue injury
Disease description:
After my brother was involved in a traffic accident, his head was injured, resulting in soft tissue damage to the head. How should head soft tissue injuries be treated in emergency first aid?
Effective management of head soft tissue injuries should be based on the specific nature of the injury. In cases of severe soft tissue damage, skin lacerations and active bleeding may occur. In such situations, patients should promptly go to the hospital within 6 to 8 hours after injury for wound debridement. The wound should be cleaned sequentially with povidone-iodine, hydrogen peroxide, and normal saline.
