What should I do if I always feel like there's a foreign object in my throat and feel slightly nauseous?
Disease description:
Initially, there was a dry sore throat with phlegm, a sensation of a foreign body, nausea, and upset stomach. The Adam's apple has occasionally been swollen, and this has persisted for six months. I constantly feel like there's something stuck in my throat and experience mild nausea. What should I do?
There is a constant sensation of a foreign body in the throat accompanied by mild nausea. Patients are advised to eat light foods and avoid oily, spicy, and irritating foods. Soup intake should be reduced, and meals should be kept to about half-full portions. Physical activity should be avoided after eating. Under a doctor's guidance, oral acid-suppressing medications can be used for treatment, typically for around 1–2 months. In some patients, symptoms gradually improve with the above treatments. Proper lifestyle management is also very important for this condition.
