This is my second baby, but I'm experiencing an abnormal fetal position. Can the baby still turn to the correct position at 34 weeks for a second pregnancy?

Dr. Zhao Xiaodong
The fetal position can still be corrected at 34 weeks for the second pregnancy. At 34 weeks, if the fetal presenting part has not yet entered the pelvis, the fetal position may still change, as there is enough space within the uterus for repositioning. If the fetus remains in an abnormal position at the time of delivery and a natural vaginal birth is desired, an external cephalic version (ECV) procedure can be performed. Under ultrasound guidance, the doctor manually manipulates the fetus to turn it into the correct position.
