Placenta previa is generally managed through routine care, medication, and surgical intervention. Expectant management is suitable when there is no vaginal bleeding or uterine contractions, and the gestational age is under 36 weeks. If recurrent contractions, vaginal bleeding, infection, or shock occur, termination of pregnancy may be recommended by a physician. If symptoms are not severe, adequate rest and moderate activity are advised to prevent complications such as vaginal bleeding or lower abdominal pain.
